Totally Honest & Trustworthy My car had a charging problem and an anti-freeze odor. On the phone, Marshall said I may need an alternator and heater core. When I brought the car in for service, he determined that my car had a loose fan belt anda loose hose clamp. I was prepared for a huge repair bill but was pleasantly surprised with a small one. Marshall has earned my undying loyalty.

Highly recommended We fully trust Marshall and his staff. There have been a number of times when he's insisted something is a normal sound or behavior, whereas many (most?!) other mechanics would spend several hours "fixing" the (non-existent) "problem." There have been other times he's encouraged us to wait on something to notice more "symptoms" before spending money to fix it. And, of course, when something is, in fact, broken, he's on top of it. FIVE STARS Save yourself time and money by getting the right mechanic from the start. I had a problem with my air conditioner which wasn't fixed after having taken it to three different mechanics. One changed a filter, another the fluid, still another found nothing wrong. Of course the AC would work in their shops but quit when I needed it in stop and go traffic. Suffice it to say, I needed a mechanic who could diagnose and fix the root of the problem-a detective if you will. That is what I found at Chicago Car Care. Marshall knows his stuff. He explained why I was getting intermittent cold air and even showed me the tiny little piece that was causing the problem. So not only did I get a fully functioning AC in one day (thanks to his efforts to find and pick up the necessary part) but I gained an education about my car and a mechanic I can trust. To me that's priceless. I highly recommend this shop. It's the cleanest and most courteous place you'll find.

WOW!!! I frantically called CCC this morning when I broke my seat belt (it got folded and pulled all the way out). The man on the phone said it'd cost $30+ if they had to take the car apart. I showed up soon afterward and was greeted by the friendly man I had spoke to on the phone. He promptly got a mechanic to look at the broken seat belt and had it fixed within 2 minutes (without having to take the car apart!)! And best of all, when I went inside to pay, he said it free. Thanks for watching out for a poor college kid's wallet! Friendly people, great service, clean space, what's not to love?! I was so impressed with the service I received from Chicago Car Care! Mr. Castle didn't pressure or try to sellme on anything other than the service I requested (something I've frequently encountered at other shops when I bring in my well-worn Chevy Aveo). I was pleasantly shocked at how fast my repair was done; I'd anticipated being without my car for at least a couple of days, and he had it back to me in a few hours! I'm so glad to have found a friendly, honest shop in my neighborhood.

My brakes were in really bad shape and these guys got the parts in and had the car running smoothly again in record time. I'm definitely coming back next time my car needs work done
